The calves come from structured family farms and grow up in light, airy stalls with soft, dry lying areas! The animals are kept in small groups on straw and carefully switched from dairy feed to high-quality, ruminant-friendly (80% home-grown) feed. The calves' optimally adapted diet gives the meat the typical pink color that gives the new quality program its name.
It impresses with its wonderful rosé coloring and tenderness as well as its elegant and subtle taste, which is somewhere between dairy calf and young beef.
